My Publications
Throughout my time as a professional ophthalmologist, I’ve taken part in eye research and have numerous medical journal publications.
My experience of personally performing cataract surgery in patients with and without other eye conditions (for example diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration) and supervising trainee surgeons to perform safe cataract surgery over many years encouraged me to share my surgical knowledge. I wrote, illustrated and published a textbook on cataract surgery. The book is used as a guide for residents learning cataract surgery and for consultant trainers on how to teach safely across the country.
I have lectured on performing cataract surgery for the Cybersight Foundation. Copies of these online webinars are available.
